Went 3 weeks ago and food was disgusting burger was like a piece of charcoal. Went last night and burger was the exact same again also my girlfriend ordered a well done steak that came out medium with burnt onion rings. We had to wait half an hour for the Worst food ever had, would much rather recommend the station house carvery and American grill in padgate...
Standard chain pub menu and prices. Food was cooked well and tasted fine. Kids welcome, so it can get a bit noisy if you arrive late afternoon.
Christmas lunch!!This was undoubtedly the worst meal out I have ever had, Christmas Day I always cook but we lost my mum and needed to do something different, my daughter couldn't make it as she came down with a sickness bug but those that could were so disappointed the starter was terrible nobody ate it the main was very minimal the desert was bearable but nobody even offered coffee, the only chance we might have had of being satisfied with the portion is if they still brought my daughters out which was paid for but not offered , been looking at writing a review online as people should have an idea of what to expect for next yearSo disappointed this was not inexpensive by any means for 5 adults and 1 child but I couldnt have been more unhappy, staff were nice but that was it! I have eaten there before and it was fine but Christmas dinner was terrible
Nice Christmas meal served by really friendly staff. I am told that the day to day menu is really good as is the food. I will try it one day.
Literally only opens the doors at 12pm so there was a queue of people waiting to go inside. Not so bad if it's not raining or want to have s meet up mid morning as I did. Lovely outdoor play area for children and outdoor seating area. Had my 5 month old with me and was the first time I found that I had to request the door keep for the baby changing facilities. Was a faff as I had to use it a couple of times. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
